SUB-COURTS:
A court is sometimes broken into smaller courts for use by younger teams, or for games with fewer players. To support this, myfutsalleague.com has a feature we call ":sub-courts."
To use this, you have to have the "parent" court already in the system. To create a sub-court, you can either edit an existing court or add a new one by going to Manage Courts. Whether editing or adding a court, you can select another of your league's courts in the "Sub-Court" box.
(Note that sub-courts can have sub-courts of their own)
Once this has been done, our system can detect court conflicts between a court and either one of its sub-courts or its parent court.
SHARED COURTS:
Courts are often used by other leagues. If the other league also uses myfutsalleague.com, we can better support these two leagues by sharing those courts, instead of each league having a separate court.
To use this, you have to notify Tech Support (go to Tech Support at the top of your home page). You will need to specify the other league involved and the court (or the courts if both leagues already have created separate courts) -- the sharing of courts can only be implemented by our support staff.
We will merge the two courts into one, which is shared by the two leagues. Any games or assignments already using either of the courts will end up attached to the survivor. See Merge Two Courts for more information.
Once this has been done, our system can detect court conflicts between games of the leagues using that court.
Note that both sub-court status and sharing leagues are show on your Manage Courts page.
